Job summary

White Hall Pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our independent community pharmacy team. You will be responsible for processing prescriptions, assisting with insurance claims, and supporting pharmacists to deliver high-quality patient care.

We offer benefits and a supportive work environment. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with opportunities for higher pay based on experience. Weekday hours and rotating Saturday shifts provide a stable schedule with Sundays off.

Qualifications

• Previous pharmacy technician experience required.
• Active West Virginia Pharmacy Technician Registration (or ability to obtain).
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy workflow and insurance processing.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, motivated, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Enter prescriptions and process insurance claims
• Assist pharmacists with daily workflow
• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and insurance companies
• Answer phones and provide outstanding customer service
• Assist with inventory management and medication ordering
• Support medication packaging, compounding, and delivery programs as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment

Pay

Starting at $17.00 per hour, with higher pay available based on experience.

Schedule

• Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Most team members work 1–2 closing shifts per week
• Rotating Saturdays from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
• Sundays and major holidays off
