Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Everett, WA seeks an experienced Associate Attorney licensed in Washington and Oregon to join its litigation team handling personal injury matters arising from motor vehicle collisions.

The ideal candidate will manage a plaintiff PI caseload from intake through resolution, develop litigation strategy, conduct client meetings, and mentor junior staff while delivering exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Washington (WA).
• Minimum of 3 years of plaintiff personal injury experience.
• Significant experience handling automobile accident cases.
• Experience managing litigation independently.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation abilities.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• Commitment to exceptional client service.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for court appearances.

Responsibilities

• Manage a personal injury caseload from intake through resolution.
• Develop litigation strategy and evaluate liability and damages.
• Conduct client meetings and maintain regular communication.
• Review medical records and analyze damages.
• Prepare demand packages and settlement evaluations.
• Negotiate with insurance adjusters and defense counsel.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, mediation briefs, and trial documents.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend court hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and settlement conferences.
• Prepare cases for trial and assist in trying cases when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with legal assistants, paralegals, and negotiators.
• Mentor junior legal staff and contribute to firm training.
• Maintain accurate case notes and deadlines within the firm's case management system.
• Meet productivity, client communication, and litigation performance expectations.
