Dartmouth Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the 36-bed post-surgical unit specializing in orthopedics, general, and plastic surgery in Lebanon, NH. The role features 3 x 12 hour shifts with day/night rotations and weekend duties, emphasizing rapid assessment and patient mobility in a busy, team‑oriented environment.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, NH RN eligibility, BLS, and a BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required.
• BSN degree preferred for this RN role.
• Licensed Registered Nurse with New Hampshire eligibility and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Monitor patient status and modify care plans as needed.
• Uphold ANA ethics and advocate for patient autonomy.
• Mentor colleagues and support team collaboration.
• Delegation of tasks following laws and policies.
• Prioritize time to optimize patient outcomes.
• Engage in evidence-based practice and quality improvement.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and team.
• Precept students and junior staff as assigned.
• Perform other duties as required.

Education
