Ideal candidates have 3+ years of painting/finishing, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to communicate effectively using modern software and tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years painting and finishing experience
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Knowledge of current paint/finishing methods
• Ability to communicate via speech, computers, apps, and software
• Experience with automotive paints and lacquers is a plus
• Experience in a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

• Produce quality finishes including masking, spray painting, and chemical finishing.
• Prepare surfaces for coating: clean, tape, sand, fill, putty.
• Operate large format spray equipment.
• Operate small electric and manual hand tools.
• Color match and mix different mediums.
• Collaborate with team members and production staff.
• Maintain and manage inventory supplies.
• Apply finishes such as lacquers and protective coatings to wood, metal, and plastics.
