Job summary

Utility Lines Construction Services is seeking an Overhead Distribution A Lineperson to install, maintain, and repair overhead distribution systems, including poles, transformers, and switches. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, following safety rules and using heavy equipment such as bucket trucks and digger derrick trucks.

The role requires 4+ years of electrical linework, the ability to climb structures, and knowledge of high-voltage systems.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of electrical linework experience.
• Be able to provide proof of work experience, schooling, and certifications.
• Must have knowledge of working with energized high voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Setting of poles and anchors; stringing overhead wire.
• Installing transformers, lightning arrestors, cutouts, crossarms, insulators, switches, and switchgear.
• Maintenance or repair work of energized and de-energized overhead lines per safety rules.
• Troubleshooting issues with primary and secondary systems.
• Replacing fusess and clearing faulted circuits; inspect tools and equipment daily.
