Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) certification.
• 1-2 years OR experience.

Responsibilities

• Didactic education and digital education components.
• Lab experiences with practice skills.
• Simulations.
• Role playing.
• Hands-on practice.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts to accommodate staffing.
• Must take call.
• Assistance in evacuation of patients during emergencies.
• Routinely works with potentially infectious specimens and patients.
• Respond to patients in a timely manner and access all areas of the unit.
• Lift up to 35 pounds; use patient handling equipment for heavier lifts with a team.
