Job summary

Advocate Health’s Aurora Medical Center - Grafton is seeking a capable Registered Nurse for the Operating Room to join the main OR team. This full-time 1.0 FTE position offers a PM shift from 11:30am to 8:00pm with call rotation, supporting diverse surgical specialties in a high-skilled clinical setting.

You will coordinate patient care using nursing processes, with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and patient experience, while adhering to established standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
