Job summary

Falmouth Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced or licensed Veterinary Technician with a surgical background to join our three-doctor AAHA-accredited practice in Falmouth, MA.

This full-time role offers a flexible 4-day work week with rotating Saturday shifts, competitive hourly pay ($27–$30), and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) matching, tuition support, paid parental leave, PTO, medical/dental/vision, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician preferred (CVT/LVT/RVT).
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring, induction, and recovery is required.
• Experience assisting in surgery and providing high-quality patient nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and obtain histories, vitals, and assessments.
• Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed.
• Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection.
• Support surgical and dental procedures (prep, monitoring, recovery, instrument care).
• Monitor anesthesia and vitals during procedures and maintain accurate records.

What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) preferred
