Job summary

Eagle Vision One in Idaho's Treasure Valley is seeking an experienced optician to join our expanding team and deliver legendary customer service. You will assist patients in selecting frames, take precise measurements, and ensure proper fit and vision correction.

This full-time role offers opportunities to educate patients on lens options and coatings, dispense and adjust eyewear, maintain accurate records, and contribute to inventory management in a fast-paced private practice.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year experience as an Optician.
ABO certification preferred but not required.
Proficiency with optical equipment usage and lens fitting techniques.
Experience with reading and billing insurance allowances, pricing frames and lenses.

Responsibilities

Providing legendary customer service by assisting patients in selecting frames that complement their face shape, skin tone and personal style.
Take precise measurements to ensure accurate fit and optimal vision correction.
Assist with fitting glasses and lenses, ensuring maximum comfort.
Educate patients on lens options, coatings and treatments available.
Dispensing, adjusting and repairing eyewear as needed.
Managing patient records ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Manage inventory effectively.
