Job summary

Alpine Vision Center in Moscow, Idaho is seeking an Optician to help patients find eyewear that fits their prescriptions and lifestyle. You will guide choices, provide friendly, informed service, and support sales goals while maintaining a strong patient focus.

With training provided, you’ll grow in a supportive team environment, handling frame selection, adjustments, and coordination with physicians to answer questions about prescriptions and eye care needs.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience (Optical experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right candidate!)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Coachable attitude—ready to learn and grow in the optical field
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing patient needs and office demands
• Professional phone etiquette and a warm, approachable demeanor

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions and help patients choose eyewear for medical and aesthetic needs
• Provide guidance on frame choices to ensure satisfaction with vision and style
• Meet sales goals while delivering outstanding customer service
• Manage and maintain eyewear inventory for great frame and lens selection
• Perform adjustments and repairs on eyewear with personalized service
• Collaborate with physicians to address prescription questions and provide eye-related clarity
