Job summary

Eagle Vision One in Idaho's Treasure Valley is seeking an experienced optician to join our expanding team and deliver legendary customer service. You will assist patients in selecting frames, take precise measurements, and ensure proper fit and vision correction.

This full-time role offers opportunities to educate patients on lens options and coatings, dispense and adjust eyewear, maintain accurate records, and contribute to inventory management in a fast-paced private practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as an Optician.
• ABO certification preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with optical equipment usage and lens fitting techniques.
• Experience with reading and billing insurance allowances, pricing frames and lenses.

Responsibilities

• Providing legendary customer service by assisting patients in selecting frames that complement their face shape, skin tone and personal style.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing Legendary customer service by assisting patients in selecting frames that complement their face shape, skin tone, and personal style.
• Take precise measurements to ensure accurate fit and optimal vision correction.
• Assist with fitting glasses and lenses, ensuring maximum comfort.
• Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and treatments available.

• Troubleshooting
• Managing patient records ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience as an Optician

• Strong knowledge of eyewear trends, lens types, and frame styles.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and communicate effectively with patients, team members, and doctors.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Proficiency with computer systems and electronic health records (EHRs).
• Comfortability with sales processes.
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week.
• Punctuality and reliability are required.
