You will read blueprints, select materials, and work from elevations and plans under the guidance of the foreman and project manager. The position requires 7+ years hands-on carpentry, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and comfort working at heights on ladders or scaffolding.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of hands-on carpentry experience.
• Ability to lift and carry loads up to 100 pounds.
• Comfortable climbing and working from ladders or scaffolding.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform work safely and efficiently to meet production goals set by Foreman/PM.
• Prepare project layouts and accurately estimate height, width, length, and other dimensions.
• Read and interpret blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
• Select appropriate materials for each task (wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall).
• Use hand and power tools to construct, install, and repair structures.
• Join materials using nails, screws, staples, or adhesives.
• Install cabinetry, molding, doors, and windows.
• Inspect work to meet code and project specifications.
• Travel to assigned job sites as required.
• Follow company safety and personnel policies and protocols.
