Job summary

Bliss Speech and Hearing Services is seeking an experienced pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our collaborative team in North Texas. You will conduct evaluations, develop individualized plans, and deliver therapy addressing fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and play.

You will work closely with families, SLPs, and other clinicians, documenting progress and outcomes with a growth-minded culture.

Qualifications

• Texas licensed Occupational Therapist
• NBCOT certification
• Minimum 2 years pediatric experience
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with sensory processing, feeding, handwriting, or neurodiversity-affirming care is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric occupational therapy evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans and functional goals
• Provide engaging, evidence-based therapy addressing fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and play skills
• Collaborate closely with families, speech-language pathologists, and other interdisciplinary team members
• Complete documentation, progress reports, and treatment notes in a timely manner
• Contribute ideas, clinical insight, and positive team culture

What You’ll Do

Ideal Candidate

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in Texas
• NBCOT certified
• Minimum 2 years pediatric experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Experience with a variety of diagnoses and age ranges
• Organized, collaborative, and family-centered
• Comfortable working independently while also being part of a team

Preference may be given to clinicians comfortable with evaluations and case management.

Experience or interest in any of the following is a plus:

• Sensory integration / sensory processing
• Feeding therapy
• Handwriting and visual-motor skills
• Primitive reflex integration
• Self-regulation and emotional regulation programs
• Experience working with autistic children and neurodiversity-affirming care
