The role emphasizes accuracy in med administration, labeling, storage, and proper documentation.

Required state certification as QMA/CMA and active CNA in good standing; 0–1 years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as QMA/CMA by the state and hold CNA certification in good standing.
• 0–1 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, administer, and record prescribed medications under licensed supervision and state policy.
• Follow the five rights of medication administration within scope of practice.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Label, store, receive and destroy medication per company policy.
• Chart medications as directed by Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.

Education

QMA/CMA certification (state)

CNA certification in good standing
