Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for a 12-hour shift rotation in a high-acuity unit. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays, day and night coverage, and comprehensive patient care responsibilities.

The role requires ACLS/BLS readiness, active Florida RN licensure, and a focus on patient safety and education. We value teamwork, continuous learning, and delivering quality care in a busy, supportive environment

Qualifications

• Current FL Nursing License is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in acute/critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial vital signs and admission assessment.
• Provide safe patient care and monitor hemodynamics.
• Administer medications and IV therapies per policy.
• Interpret ECGs and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Document care plans, patient education, and discharge needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for optimal outcomes.
