Job summary

Core Scientific is seeking a Mechanical Journeyman for an on-site role in Pecos, TX. This role requires a completed apprenticeship or equivalent vocational training and at least 7 years of progressive mechanical experience, including HVAC, piping and related systems.

Qualifications

• Formal vocational school training in the fundamentals of the trade is required.
• 7+ years of increasingly responsible experience in the trade.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to follow guidance from staff and management.

Responsibilities

• Break-fix of electro-mechanical systems (HVAC, Hydronics, appliances, doors, locks, air compressors, etc.).
• Site servicing including leak detection, PMs on HVAC and hydronic systems, and equipment maintenance.
• Team scheduling, materials requisition, and reporting on equipment status.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and perform general mechanical tasks.
