Job summary

Jobot in Minnesota is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Technician to perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on a range of machinery. You will collaborate with engineering and document all work to support reliability and uptime.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and proficiency with hand and power tools. Flexibility for weekends is a plus.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in engineering or similar
Experience with preventive maintenance techniques and practices
Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Proficient with hand and power tools
Flexible hours including weekends/holidays if required
Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns
Perform preventive maintenance tasks on a variety of equipment
Respond to emergency breakdowns and troubleshoot to minimize downtime
Collaborate with engineering to understand operation and maintenance requirements
Document all maintenance work for records
Ensure safety protocols are followed during maintenance
Assist in installation of new equipment and machinery
Participate in continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and reliability
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and maintenance techniques
