Job summary

WaterSaver Faucet Co. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to lead maintenance activities across our Chicago-area facility.

The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance for building systems and production/process equipment, with emphasis on safety and reliability. You will troubleshoot equipment, coordinateVendor repairs, install electrical and plumbing lines, and document work orders in our maintenance system.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or trade school certifications in relevant areas.
• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read IO&M instructions, parts lists and prints.
• Good computer skills with MS Office.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to handle the physical demands of the job.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving history.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled maintenance and repairs on building systems, production equipment, and process equipment.
• Troubleshoot plant equipment and coordinate repairs with outside vendors.
• Install 120V conduit and outlets, low voltage wiring, compressed air and water lines.
• Create work orders and maintain records in the computerized maintenance system.
