The ideal candidate should possess a journeyman's card or prove relevant experience. Key tasks include light fabrication, MIG welding, and general building maintenance, with an emphasis on preventative care and safe operation of transport vehicles.

Qualifications

• Journeyman's card or verifiable experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, dismantle, repair, and replace mechanical and hydraulic components.
• Perform light fabrication and MIG welding.
• Dismantle machinery and remove/replace defective parts.
• General building maintenance and industrial plumbing.
• Manufacture repair parts from sketches, samples, or blueprints.
• Maintain records of repairs, calibrations, and tests.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document equipment conditions.
• Assist with purchasing replacement or spare parts.
• Transport materials as required.
• Operate handcarts, lift trucks, and other transport vehicles safely.
• Maintain housekeeping and follow 5S practices.
• Operate standard hand and power tools.
• Provide basic tools/toolbox.
• Complete other assigned duties as needed.
