Job summary

Edmonds Post Acute in Edmonds, WA is seeking an experienced LVN to implement plans of care and provide comprehensive nursing care to chronically ill and technologically dependent residents. You will assist with medication administration, treatments, and family education under RN supervision.

The role requires LVN licensure, 6 months LVN experience in a general acute care setting, and strong communication skills in English. This is a full-time, on-site position with a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

  • LVN licensure in the state of Washington.
  • Minimum 6 months LVN experience in the past 2 years in a general acute care hospital or similar setting.
  • Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret clinical information in English.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with patients and families.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and provide treatments as prescribed.
  • Perform resident care duties to meet physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs.
  • Complete initial and ongoing assessments and document findings.
  • Collaborate with RN, physicians and care team to develop individualized care plans.
  • Demonstrate sound clinical judgment in nursing care and documentation.
  • Monitor resident conditions and report changes to RN and team.
  • Maintain safety and privacy in all interactions.
