Job summary

KALESTA HEALTHCARE GROUP is seeking an experienced Admission / Charge Nurse (RN or LVN) in Bellevue, WA. This full-time position entails making daily assessments of residents, administering medications as per physician orders, and developing care plans with the interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate must have a current RN or LVN license in Washington and strong leadership skills to effectively manage staff and care delivery in a skilled nursing facility environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make daily rounds to assess residents and monitor care delivery.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Develop and update resident care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Assign and supervise direct care staff during the shift.
• Provide staff orientation, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR.
• Communicate significant changes to physicians, families, and supervisors.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, infection control, OSHA, and regulatory standards.
• Assist with survey readiness and quality improvement initiatives.

Skills

Reporting: This position reports directly to the Director of Nursing.

Key Responsibilities
