Job summary

Qualifications

• Five years of experience with cabling, equipment installation, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of wide- and local area network topologies and operation.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, troubleshoot, and repair low-voltage and fiber cabling (Cat5e/6/6a, single- & multi-mode fiber, voice, control).
• Install and maintain equipment racks, switches, projectors, speakers, screens, interactive whiteboards, cameras, and access points.
• Maintain/monitor UPS, backup generators, and air conditioners.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain equipment life cycle records (inventory).
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Education

High school diploma or GED

BICSI (Installation) certifications desirable
