Job summary

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring an experienced locksmith for projects in and around Greensboro, NC. This first shift position offers pay up to $28/hour based on experience. You will join a team that values safety, productivity, and craftsmanship while advancing your locksmith career.

The role requires CRL or CIL certification, locksmith experience, and the ability to read blueprints. You will work on electronic locking systems, keying, door hardware, and related security devices,

Qualifications

• Must have locksmith experience and CRL or CIL certification.
• Experience with electronic locking systems, keying systems and door hardware preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious and detail-oriented.
• Must pass background check and drug screen; Zoom interview prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electronic locking systems.
• Cut, issue, and manage keys for residential facilities.
• Re-key and repair locks including master key systems.
• Install/repair exit devices, door closers, and door hardware.
• Read blueprints and maintain key logs for projects.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies.

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Locksmith's for projects located in or around Greensboro, NC. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $28/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope

• Install, maintain, and repair electronic locking systems
• Cut, issue, and manage keys for residential facilities
• Re-key and repair locks, including master key and grand master key systems
• Install and repair exit devices, door closers, and door hardware
• Repair, adjust, and doors to ensure proper operation
• Address security and emergency needs related to doors and locking systems
• Read blueprints and maintain key logs for new construction and renovation projects
• Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency service requests as needed
• Assist contractors and perform additional locksmith duties as assigned
• Inspect, maintain, and inventory tools, materials, and equipment
• Complete work orders and required documentation accurately and on time
• Operate company vehicles and maintain vehicle safety standards
• Perform shop maintenance, vehicle maintenance, and housekeeping duties

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Registered Locksmith (CRL) and/or Certified Institutional Locksmith (CIL)
• Must have previous locksmith experience
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work-related competencies required
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience with electronic locking systems, keying systems, and door hardware preferred
• Trade-related experience may be considered in lieu of certain qualifications
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Must be willing to complete a Zoom interview prior to hire
