Job summary

Tradesmen International is seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber for the Greensboro, NC area on a first shift. The role emphasizes safety, productivity, and high-quality craftsmanship while working with other seasoned tradesmen on campus water systems.

The position offers a pay rate of $27–$28 per hour based on experience, with benefits including health insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) retirement plan. Basic hand tools, PPE and a drug screen/background check are required.

Qualifications

• Basic hand tools required.
• All PPE must be worn.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Unclog drains
• Replace pipes and fixtures
• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair campus domestic water systems, sanitary sewers, storm drains, and gas piping
• Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical room infrastructure, including water heaters, circulating pumps, backflow assemblies, and connection points for steam or chilled water systems
• Ensure all work adheres to OSHA guidelines, Uniform Plumbing Codes (UPC), and institution-specific safety protocols

This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $27-28/hour based on experience and skill level.
