Hoagland, Longo, Moran, Dunst & Doukas, LLP in New Brunswick, NJ seeks a detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys across all phases of commercial litigation. The role involves case management, document review, discovery, and trial preparation in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience, an ABA-approved paralegal credential, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree or ABA‑approved paralegal program preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in relevant fields.
• Familiarity with litigation procedures, court rules, and discovery processes.

Responsabilités

• Support attorneys throughout all stages of litigation from inception through trial and appeal.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, subpoenas, and correspondence.
• Manage large volumes of case documents including contracts, schedules, and invoices.
• Coordinate document production, e-discovery, and review processes.
• Assist with discovery responses, deposition prep, witness coordination, and exhibits.
• Summarize depositions, expert reports, and medical records.
• Conduct factual investigations and legal research using online databases and public records.
• Maintain case files, calendars, deadlines, and court filings in state and federal courts.
• Coordinate with clients, experts, consultants, contractors, insurers, and opposing counsel.
• Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness files for hearings, arbitrations, or trials.
• Track construction project documentation and timelines to support litigation strategy.
• Assist with billing entries, expense tracking, and matter management as needed.
