Qualifications

• Experience in complex commercial litigation.
• Ability to prepare and draft legal documents (agreements, pleadings).
• Knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and court filing requirements.
• Proven skills in legal/public records research, deposition and motion practice.
• Strong writing and grammar skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize pleadings, affidavits, motions, exhibits, and other legal documents.
• Assist in discovery, including document review and production logs.
• Perform detailed legal research using WESTLAW.
• Perform public records searches for litigation matters.
• Identify and track legal documents and ensure proper execution.
• Assist attorneys at depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial prep.
• Maintain client communications under supervision, and ensure timely billing.
• Paralegals are expected to bill at least 1,450 hours annually.
