Job summary

Granby Ranch is seeking an experienced Lift Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair aerial tramways and conveyors. The role requires hands-on field work, reading electrical schematics, and troubleshooting lift control systems.

Training and collaboration with the Lift Operations Team are essential as part of daily operations on the mountain. The candidate should have 3-5 years of lift maintenance experience, knowledge of CPTSB/ANSI guidelines, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of ski area lift maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of CPTSB, ANSI, and lift manufacturer guidelines.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot lift problems and electrical issues.
• Perform pre-operational lift start-up inspections.
• Conduct annual maintenance and inspections per CPTSB/ANSI standards.
• Read electrical schematics and repair lift control systems.
• Coordinate with Lift Operations and CPTSB inspectors.
• Operate shop equipment and repair lifts on mountain.
