Job summary
Gunstock Mountain Resort in Gilford, New Hampshire seeks a skilled Lift Mechanic to support our Mountain Operations team. You’ll maintain and repair 8 aerial and surface lifts and the Mountain Coaster, ensuring safe operation and compliance with safety standards.
The role requires 5+ years in lift maintenance or related construction, tower climbing certification within 3 months, and strong troubleshooting skills for electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues; restoration and safety checks are
Qualifications
- 5+ years of lift maintenance or construction experience as related to aerial and surface lifts
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of all lifts and the Mountain Coaster, inspect safety switches, cables, and electrical systems, and climb lift towers for inspections and repairs.
- Oversee daily opening/closing procedures, safety checks, and communicate status to Mountain Operations team.
- Provide technical training on safe operation of lift systems for new hires and in-service staff; advise on loading/unloading safety protocols.
- Support Operations Team and other trades on various projects as needed.
