Job summary

Arapahoe Basin near Denver is seeking Lift Mechanics to maintain aerial tramways and surface lifts year-round. You will stay on site to troubleshoot lift issues, perform scheduled maintenance, and report per state and federal guidelines. This role supports a dynamic team keeping the mountain’s lifts operating smoothly.

The job requires 1 year of lift experience, ability to operate tools, and comfort with high-altitude environments. Competitive hourly pay and a staging program are offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year of lift operations or lift maintenance experience required.
• Must pass a CPTSB test and know OSHA and safety procedures.
• High school diploma and certified climber training are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair lift equipment and report issues per regulations.
• Assist with inspections, start-up procedures, and daily log upkeep.
• Operate lifts safely and support line maintenance as needed.
• Follow all sustainability guidelines and assist with training.
