Job summary

Granby Ranch is seeking an experienced Lift Mechanic to maintain and repair aerial tramways and conveyors. You will read schematics, troubleshoot lift control systems, and support night ski lighting and other electrical needs.

The role involves field work, safety compliance, and collaboration with the Lift Operations Team. Requirements include 3–5 years of ski area lift maintenance, CPTSB/ANSI knowledge, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of lift maintenance experience at ski areas.
• Knowledge of CPTSB and ANSI standards is preferred.
• Must be able to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot lift controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operational lift Start-up inspections each day.
• Conduct annual maintenance and periodic inspections on lifts.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical lift issues as they arise.
• Ensure compliance with CPTSB, ANSI, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Coordinate with Lift Operations for safe daily operation.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear required PPE.
