Job summary

New Era Technology, LLC is seeking an Experienced Life Safety Service Technician to assist the Service Manager with troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of low voltage systems in client facilities. This role covers fire alarm, CCTV, access control, AV, nurse call and network systems.

Qualifications

• Associate Electronics degree (or minimum 5 years of experience) in systems installation, service, programming, and commissioning.
• Strong communication and documentation skills are required.
• Must have a clean driving record and be able to drive to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Service, inspecting, testing, and maintaining low voltage systems.
• Troubleshoot, adjust, calibrate, and modify circuitry and programming; document effects on performance.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain a professional appearance.
• Travel locally to client locations with no overnight travel.
• Support design, estimating, engineering, and sales activities as needed.
