New Era Technology in Fort Wayne, IN, is hiring a Senior Life Safety Installation Technician to install, maintain, and service low voltage systems at customer facilities. You will read wiring diagrams, terminate cabling, and ensure high-quality installations on time.

The role requires 4+ years in AV/security/electrical installs, CTS within 15 months, and strong customer-service skills. Flexible shifts, construction-site work, and travel to sites are expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in AV, security, or electrical installation.
• CTS certification within 15 months of starting.
• Preferred: NICET FAS, Genetec, AXIS, Avigilon or similar certifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and service low voltage systems in facilities.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Fabricate and terminate cabling racks for integration of AV/IT systems.
• Assist with preventive maintenance of equipment at customer sites.
• Respond promptly to customer service issues and document work orders.
• Work safely and follow company and customer safety programs.
