Job summary

Banyan Living seeks an experienced Leasing Agent to drive occupancy and resident satisfaction in Hudson, OH. You will market properties, show tours, process applications, run credit/background checks, and ensure Fair Housing compliance with strong customer service and negotiation skills.

The role requires evenings/weekends availability, proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software, and a proven track record in residential leasing with mentorship capabilities.

Qualifications

• Lead property tours and presentations with professionalism and detailed knowledge of each community.
• Utilize leasing experience to process applications, perform credit/background checks, and qualify residents in compliance with Fair Housing laws.
• Develop and maintain relationships with prospects and residents to foster community retention and referrals.
• Collaborate with management to implement marketing strategies to increase leasing performance and occupancy.

Responsibilities

• Lead property tours and presentations with professionalism and detailed knowledge of each community.
• Process applications, perform thorough credit/background checks, and qualify prospective residents in line with Fair Housing laws.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects and residents to drive retention and referrals.
• Collaborate with management to implement marketing strategies to boost occupancy and leasing performance.
• Prepare accurate lease agreements and ensure documentation complies with company policies and legal requirements.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior leasing staff as needed.
• Maintain strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate knowledge of leasing procedures and legal compliance.
