Experienced Lead Framing Carpenter - Full-Time.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Lead Framing Carpenter to lead and work alongside a team on residential and light commercial framing projects. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on framing expertise, and a focus on team development, collaboration, and meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-On Framing & Production (65%) - Execute SIPs, ICF, and traditional rough carpentry while setting the pace for the crew.
- Team Leadership & Development (25%) - Train, mentor, and motivate team members to improve skills, efficiency, and jobsite collaboration.
- Scheduling & Coordination (10%) - Plan daily tasks, ensure crews stay on track, and communicate clear expectations to meet project deadlines.
- Accountability & Team Culture - Foster a positive, solutions-driven team environment that values hard work, respect, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of leadership experience in framing or carpentry.
- Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a crew while ensuring high-quality production.
- Strong time management skills - ability to plan out each day, keep projects on schedule, and meet deadlines.
- Experience in high-level framing and remodeling (residential & light commercial).
- Tech proficiency for scheduling, communication, and job documentation.
- Team-oriented mindset - ability to work collaboratively and resolve challenges constructively.
