Job summary

Emerald Packaging, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Laminator for our Santa Ana, CA operation. The role covers setup, operation, and monitoring of lamination equipment in a flexible packaging environment. You will troubleshoot issues, ensure quality, and minimize downtime while adhering to safety procedures.

Current schedule is 2nd shift with potential overtime as operations expand. This is a temp-to-hire position with opportunity for direct hire based on performance and experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating lamination equipment.
• Experience in flexible packaging, film, printing, or converting environments is a plus.
• Ability to independently perform machine setups and adjustments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work the required schedule.
• Willingness to transition to a 12-hour rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate lamination equipment safely, efficiently, and accurately.
• Perform machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers per job specs.
• Read and use measuring tools accurately for machine setup.
• Monitor film, adhesive, tension, temperature, speed, and other conditions.
• Inspect finished products for quality and customer specifications.
• Troubleshoot operating or quality issues and report to supervision.
• Maintain production efficiency and minimize downtime and waste.
• Maintain equipment and workspace and follow safety procedures.
