Job summary

Downtown Boulder Partnership in San Clemente, CA is seeking a Molding Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, following standard procedures, specifications and safety policies. You will support multiple facility operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of experience in injection molding, familiarity with PLCs and automation controls, strong troubleshooting and teamwork skills, and may have experience with Arburg or Engel

Qualifications

U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education/work experience.
4+ years of relevant work experience in injection molding or related field.
Experience with PLC programming, basic troubleshooting, and automation controls.
Reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance service and repairs on assigned equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and associated equipment including compressors, dryers, dehumidifiers, cooling towers.
Follow detailed job setups and operate within safety policies.
Administer the preventive maintenance system and provide required reports.
Educate operators on preventive maintenance and ensure punctual attendance.
Support the Facilities Function as needed.
