Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Infrastructure Project Controls Engineer to join the Infra Integration team in Taylor, TX. This high-visibility role blends technical scheduling with data automation, owning the critical path from construction to operations and delivering real-time dashboards.

You’ll build integrated schedules, automate reporting pipelines for Power BI/Tableau dashboards, and coordinate with Fab Engineering and utility teams to mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) or Construction Management
• 3–7 years in project controls or large-scale technical constructions scheduling
• Experience with integrated schedules for large-scale industrial projects; semiconductor experience a plus
• PE or EIT preferred for senior-level responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the fully integrated infrastructure schedule, managing the critical path from construction to operations.
• Build and automate reporting pipelines that pull data from schedules and project trackers into real-time Power BI/Tableau dashboards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align Fab Engineering needs and utility availability.
• Provide early warnings to leadership regarding schedule slips or interdependencies.
• Codify scheduling and reporting learnings to create enterprise standards for multiple Fab2 projects.
• Generate weekly and monthly health reports for Infra Technology leadership.

Position Summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Infrastructure Project Controls Engineer to join the Infra Integration team. This is a high-visibility role that blends technical project scheduling with advanced data automation. The successful candidate will be the source of truth for the project's progress, responsible for managing the critical path from construction to operational readiness and building the automated reporting systems that track it. You will ensure that base build utilities are perfectly aligned with dependent Infrastructure customer's and tool hook-up dates. Translating that complex data into real-time executive dashboards to mitigate risk for all Fabs at Taylor.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

• 3-7yearsofexperienceinprojectcontrols,large-scaletechnicalconstructionscheduling,orinfrastructureintegration.

• TechnicalProficiency:Provenexpertiseinbothschedulingsoftware(PrimaveraP6orMSProject)ANDdatavisualizationtools(PowerBIorTableau).

• Experiencemanagingintegratedschedulesforlarge-scaleindustrialprojects(Semiconductorexperienceisasignificantplus).

• (ForSeniorLevel):Demonstratedabilitytomanagecomplexsysteminterdependenciesandcriticalpathanalysis(PEorEITpreferred).

The current base salary range for this role is between $95,000 - $120,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
