Job summary

DHT Group is seeking an Experienced Equipment Operator / Construction Laborer in Reese, Michigan. You will operate heavy equipment, perform physical labor, and work with an experienced crew on excavation and site development projects across Michigan.

We value safety, reliability, and quality workmanship. The role requires at least two years of verifiable construction or heavy equipment experience and may involve travel during the busy season.

Qualifications

Minimum two (2) years of verifiable heavy equipment or construction experience.
Experience operating excavators, loaders, dozers, or similar equipment preferred.
CDL-A preferred, but not required.
Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist with excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation.
Load and unload materials and equipment.
Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations.
Travel to out-of-town projects during the busy season.
Work as part of a professional construction crew.
