Job summary

DHT Group is hiring an Experienced Equipment Operator / Construction Laborer for our Reese, Michigan operation. This is a hands-on role where you'll operate heavy equipment, help with excavation and site prep, and work with an experienced crew on diverse projects across Michigan.

Requires at least two years of verifiable construction or heavy equipment experience; CDL-A is preferred but not required. You must be able to travel for busy-season out-of-town projects and perform physically demanding

Qualifications

• Two years of verifiable heavy equipment or construction experience.
• Experience operating excavators, loaders, dozers, or similar equipment.
• CDL-A preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation.
• Load and unload materials and equipment.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Follow all safety policies and DOT regulations.
• Travel to out-of-town projects during the busy season.
• Work as part of a professional construction crew.
