KOMAN Construction LLC in Harlingen, TX is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our road construction team. You will operate skid steers, backhoes, tractors, and front-end loaders, and help with traffic control and right-of-way maintenance.

Qualifications

• One (1) year or more work experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to pass a background and drug test – KOMAN is a drug-free environment.
• Ability to work from diagrams, sketches, and oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work effectively with fellow employees.

Responsibilities

• Operates loading equipment and heavy machinery including skid steers, backhoes, tractors and front-end loaders.
• Operates and/or drives trucks and light to heavy equipment (dump truck, water truck, rollers, broom).
• Operates gas powered chain saw, pole saws, weed eaters and blower.
• Assists with traffic control.
• Maintains roadway rights of way and drainage facilities; pothole repairs and sign installation.
