Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year experience operating excavators and bulldozers.
• Experience reading blueprints is helpful.
• Must have pipe-laying experience (1 year minimum preferred).
• Must have construction background (1 year minimum).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with pipe crews while working inside trench or trench boxes.
• Lay pipe for underground storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains.
• Communicate with concrete and/or pipe crews to accomplish tasks.
• Perform daily checks on equipment and report defects.
• Work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors as required.
