Page Mechanical Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator in the Thibodaux, LA area. You will operate excavators, skid steers, bulldozers, and perform trenching, grading, and pipe laying tasks.

Responsibilities include coordinating with pipe crews, performing daily equipment checks, and ensuring safety procedures. Requires construction background, ability to read blueprints, and willingness to travel within a 60-mile radius.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment on construction sites.
• Minimum 1 year with excavator, skid steer and bulldozer.
• Must have experience cutting grade.
• Must have pipe work exposure (drainage, sewer).
• 1 year minimum pipe laying experience preferred.
• Construction background (1 year minimum).
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with pipe crews while in trench or trench boxes.
• Lay pipe for underground storm or sanitation sewers and water mains.
• Communicate with concrete/pipe crews to complete tasks.
• Perform daily equipment checks and maintenance as needed.
• Work in a team environment and assist others as required.
• Grade trenches/culverts, move earth, position pipe, and erect structures.
