Job summary

Healing Strides Counseling is seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to operate heavy and light construction equipment for municipal utility repair projects. You will excavate, grade, and move earth, attach tools, and perform routine maintenance while adhering to safety protocols.

The role requires 5+ years of heavy equipment experience, a valid Texas driver's license, and the ability to follow detailed instructions in a physically demanding outdoor setting.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas driver’s license with clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to follow detailed written or verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozer, loader, grader, backhoe and other equipment.
• Attach and detach implements with pins and hitches.
• Connect hydraulic hoses and power takeoff to provide power to attachments.
• Grease, oil and perform minor repairs on equipment.
• Operate equipment to grade and move earth per grade stakes.
• Follow safety protocols and promote a safe work environment.
• Make decisions with little supervision and exercise good judgment.
