ProLift Toyota Material Handling in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced Field Heavy Duty Technician to provide world-class maintenance and repair services for equipment over 15,500 lb and yard spotters at customer sites.

You will diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, engine, and electronic systems, perform preventative maintenance, and document service details while delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience repairing industrial equipment or similar heavy-duty gear.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and service heavy-duty equipment at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, drive-train, and electronic systems.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Use manufacturer diagnostic software to support repairs.
• Document service activities accurately.
• Recommend repairs to improve uptime and reliability.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory.

Join the ProLift Toyota Material Handling Service Team!

ProLift Toyota Material Handling is seeking an experienced Field Heavy Duty Technician to provide world-class maintenance and repair services to all classes of equipment larger than 15,500 lb capacity and yard spotter equipment at customer locations.

We're looking for professionals who take pride in solving problems, delivering exceptional customer service, and working independently.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, repair, and service heavy duty equipment such as Toyota Heavy Duty, CombiLift, Aisle-Master, and Taylor Dunn
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, drivetrain, and electronic systems
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance
• Utilize manufacturer diagnostic software
• Complete accurate service documentation
• Recommend repairs that improve customer uptime and equipment reliability
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing ProLift professionally

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of experience repairing industrial equipment, heavy equipment, automotive diesel, agricultural, or material handling equipment, required
• High school diploma or equivalent, required
• Technical school education, preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Experience with diagnostic software, preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record (may require medical certificate or CDL)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift, push and pull up-to 75lbs and work in various environments such as outdoor rain or snow conditions

Preferred Experience

• Toyota Heavy Duty, CombiLift, Aisle-Master, Taylor-Dunn repair experience
• ASE, EVT, or OEM certifications
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Battery - electric and lithium-ion equipment
