Job summary

ProLift Toyota Material Handling Service Team is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to service forklifts and material handling equipment at customer locations. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment, troubleshoot complex systems, and deliver exceptional customer service while working independently.

This role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience repairing industrial equipment or material handling equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical school education is preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Experience with diagnostic software is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs and work in various environments.

• Diagnose and repair electric and internal combustion forklifts
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, drivetrain, and electronic systems
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance

• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of experience repairing industrial equipment, heavy equipment, automotive diesel, agricultural, or material handling equipment, required
• High school diploma or equivalent, required
• Technical school education, preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Experience with diagnostic software, preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record (may require medical certificate or CDL)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift, push and pull up-to 75lbs and work in various environments such as outdoor rain or snow conditions

Preferred Experience:

• Toyota forklift repair experience
• ASE, EVT, or OEM certifications
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Battery – electric and lithium-ion equipment
