ProLift Toyota Material Handling is seeking an experienced Shop Heavy Duty Technician to provide world-class maintenance and repair services to all classes of equipment larger than 15,500 lb capacity and yard spotter equipment at customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and service heavy duty equipment larger than 15,500 lb capacity and yard spotters.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, drivetrain, and electronic systems.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Utilize manufacturer diagnostic software to diagnose issues.
• Complete accurate service documentation.
• Recommend repairs to improve uptime and reliability.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing ProLift professionally.

ProLift Toyota Material Handling is seeking an experienced Shop Heavy Duty Technician to provide world-class maintenance and repair services to all classes of equipment larger than 15,500 lb capacity and yard spotter equipment at customer locations.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, repair, and service heavy duty equipment such as Toyota Heavy Duty, CombiLift, Aisle‑Master, and Taylor Dunn
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, drivetrain, and electronic systems
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance
• Utilize manufacturer diagnostic software
• Complete accurate service documentation
• Recommend repairs that improve customer uptime and equipment reliability
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing ProLift professionally

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ years of experience repairing industrial equipment, heavy equipment, automotive diesel, agricultural, or material handling equipment, required
• High school diploma or equivalent, required
• Technical school education, preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Experience with diagnostic software, preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record (may require medical certificate or CDL)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift, push and pull up‑to 75lbs and work in various environments such as outdoor rain or snow conditions

Preferred Experience

• Toyota Heavy Duty, CombiLift, Aisle‑Master, Taylor‑Dunn repair experience
• ASE, EVT, or OEM certifications
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Battery – electric and lithium‑ion equipment
