Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Hazmat Security Officer in Chicago, IL to maintain a safe environment for clients. You will monitor premises, control access, and patrol multiple locations during 12-hour shifts from 5PM to 5AM.

Experienced Hazmat Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Chicago, IL

Wage:$25.00/HR

12 Hour Shifts: 5PM - 5AM

The Hazmat Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Experience working in a chemical warehouse.
