Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Landscaper II to maintain lawns, beds, and gardens on campus locations in Worcester, MA. The role involves mowing, fertilizing, mulching, pruning, and seasonal cleanups to ensure a safe and aesthetically pleasing campus environment.

The position requires five years of related experience, a valid MA driver license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. A Hoisting Engineer License is needed within 6 months, with a flexible schedule and potential signing bonus

Qualifications

Minimum of five years related experience required.
Must have valid Massachusetts driver license (Class D).
HOisting Engineer License (Class 2A) within 6 months of employment.
Knowledge of plant material, planting techniques, pruning, weed control, and mowing.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and adapt to flexible shifts.
Willingness to learn preventive maintenance on small power equipment.

Responsibilities

Maintains lawns through mowing, watering, fertilizing and seeding.
Tends plant beds and gardens, mulching, weeding, pruning for an aesthetic environment.
Identifies plants and shrubs and performs appropriate maintenance.
Removes snow and ice; keeps roads and walkways safe for travel.
Performs seasonal cleanups including leaf removal and debris management.
