Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a team member to assist in daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind, following the production schedule to meet advertised fresh meat cuts.

Meijer, a family-led retailer with a long history, operates across six states and emphasizes growth opportunities for its team. You will write fresh meat orders, organize deliveries, and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues while upholding safety, sanitation, and presentation standards.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measures specific to meat processing.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience with product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hi-lo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the writing of fresh meat orders.
• Organizing and checking in fresh meat deliveries.
• Maintaining a positive working relationship with customers, team members and leadership.
