Job summary

Allegiance Industries, Inc. is seeking individuals for floor care tasks at our facility. On-the-job training is provided and responsibilities include carpet steam-cleaning, stripping and waxing floors, sealing surfaces, and deep cleaning painted floors with appropriate chemicals.

Candidates should have prior floor care experience, physical stamina, and the ability to follow schedules and directions from a supervisor. This is an on-site role with reliable transportation required.

Qualifications

• Experience with floor cleaning procedures and products.
• Ability to identify hazards and communicate with staff.
• Reliable transportation to and from sites.

Responsibilities

• Steam-clean carpets.
• Strip and wax floors; operate floor machines.
• Seal and buff floors.
• Deep clean painted floors with appropriate chemicals.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces; empty trash.
• Move heavy equipment and furniture as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Steam-clean carpets
• Strip the floor using the proper machinery
• Apply wax to coat floors and buff
• Apply sealant to floors
• Deep clean painted floors using appropriate chemicals/degreasers
• Clean buildings by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors and cleaning other surfaces
• Gather and empty trash
• Move heavy equipment and furniture
• Other duties as assigned
